Since PUBG PC is extremely heavy and
doesn't run properly on even mid-range PCs, there is now PUBG Lite,
which is a lighter version of the PC game. According to PUBG Corp, the new version is designed for "players in
areas where the core game's required specifications are more difficult
to achieve due to the hardware available." The new free-to-play beta has got the first PUBG map, Erangel. As per
PUBG Corp, the game "its own dedicated dev team that will create
exclusive content and quality of life features while also adding maps
and content familiar to PUBG players."The lite version of the game is currently being tested in Thailand. According to a blog post on the company’s official website from its developers, PUBG Lite will soon make it to other countries. However, it hasn’t mentioned any particular date for the launch.
